Paper formatting

Papers in English of 10–15 pages as LibreOffice files in a one-column CEUR format:
https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEUR-Template-1col.odt
Formatting rules guideline: https://ceur-ws.org/Vol-XXX/CEUR-Template-1col.pdf
All authors in the paper should give meaningful affiliations, and an ORCID should be provided in the paper.
At least one of the authors should have a PhD / Dr. Sc. in Computer Science and more than 4 papers indexed in DBLP (https://dblp.org/).
The paper should have no more than 4 authors.

Paper submission

For each paper, the submitting author should print, fill in, manually sign, and scan the Author Agreement as a JPG file.
Template of Authors Agreement: https://pz.zp.ua/files/CMIS/AgrAuth.pdf
The Paper  and Author Agreement should be submitted using the online form: https://forms.gle/bj8YaHBPoiJ3R8xPA
One person should submit not more than 1 paper.

Paper Selection Policy

For CMIS, we accept only regular papers having at least 10 standard pages and an appropriate number of references.
We do not accept pre-published papers (presented at, published at, or submitted to any other workshop/conference/journal/book).
We do not accept papers containing third-party material.
The papers should not contain misconduct (including plagiarism, self-plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, i.e.)
We accept only papers that fulfill the CMIS topics in the area of Computer Science, Information Systems, and Information Technology.
The paper’s scientific novelty (i.e., its impact on the theory of Computer Science) should be significant. We may reject papers without new significant results in Computer Science.
Each author (co-author) should submit no more than one paper per workshop.
The papers should follow and comply with the CEUR-WS Policy on AI-Assisting Tools:
https://ceur-ws.org/GenAI/Policy.html
Submission of papers to the CMIS is open to all authors from all over the world, regardless of their age, sex, nationality, religion, or project membership.
Each paper submitted to CMIS will be checked for plagiarism and peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers with a Ph.D. or Dr. Sc. in Computer Science, as well as one PC memberThe final decision will then be made by the CMIS PC Chair.

Ethical Issues

We recommend that authors, reviewers, and editors follow the Elsevier Publishing Ethics: https://www.elsevier.com/about/ policies/publishing-ethics and COPE statements https://publicationethics.org/cope-position-statements, also as CEUR policies on AI: https://ceur-ws.org/GenAI/Policy.html
The papers and volumes published on CEUR-WS.org are freely accessible for academic and private use.
We strongly discourage the republication of papers that have already been published at CMIS. Making a copy of the paper available on the author’s home page or on the institutional repository is not regarded as a republication. In such cases, authors should include a reference/URL to the original publication. We advise authors to exercise caution when publishing versions of their paper that deviate from the originally published version, as this could compromise the paper’s authenticity.

Publishing and indexing

The Proceedings of the Workshop shall be submitted for online publication as a separate volume of CEUR Workshop Proceedings (Aachen, Germany, ISSN 1613-0073), indexed by Scopus and DBLP.
Alternatively, papers may be recommended for submission to the journal “Radio Electronics, Computer Science, Control” (https://ric.zp.edu.ua, ISSN 1607-3274 (print), 2313-688X (online)), which is indexed in Web of Science.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Are paper publishing and participation free of charge?  Yes.
How many papers by the authors are allowed to be cited in the references? We recommend providing no more than 20% of references in the paper to the authors’ own works.
What number of references is recommended? It should be at least 10, but we recommend providing 15-20 references (generally to scientific sources).
Are references to Cyrillic sources acceptable? Generally, we recommend providing references only to English sources published in international publishing houses/journals/conferences with a DOI or indexed in Scopus / Web of Science.
What percent of plagiarism is allowed? We do not allow plagiarism and self-plagiarism. If you use previously published materials, you should provide correct references. The percentage of text borrowings (with references) should not exceed 10% of the paper text.
How to dispute a review of my paper? Due to time constraints, we are not able to dispute the final decision on the paper rejection. This decision is made by the book editor based on the received reviews. Authors can submit rejected papers to other conferences. If the paper is recommended for publication after revision, we recommend that the authors make all necessary changes to the paper and update it in the system.
